Notes: This is the online portion of the course. You will need to register for a skills testing date also. Us the promo code from your confirmation email to register for your skills testing or you will be charged for the skills testing. PHTLS Hybrid - EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers take 8 hours of the course online followed by 8 hours in the classroom. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as PHTLS providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.

This course is listed as a two day course. The first day is for completing the online lecture portion, if not already completed, and the second day is for skills testing in the classroom. You must email your online certificate to info@cprintampa.com and james@cprintampa.com prior to arriving for the skills testing session.

PHTLS is the global gold standard in prehospital trauma education and is taught in 64 countries. PHTLS is accredited by CAPCE and recognized by NREMT. The program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs. PHTLS promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care.
